In the process of SRW installation, we installed Shrew soft VPN, and each time when we try to connect the VPN, it either drops the internet connection or gives an error "Network Unavailable". 

In this case, the ethernet cable is directly connected to the router and the desktop, home broadband with decent speed. No powerline adapters were used.

Network reset, uninstalling of drivers via device manager, and router reset were tried - nothing helped us. 

requested the agent to try arranging for a USB-to-Ethernet adaptor 

Now, we have connected the ethernet cable one end directly into the router and the other end to the USB-to-Ethernet adaptor 

Tried different versions of Shrew Soft VPN but nothing helped.


Root Cause: The main issue was that both of the network interface cards on her PC (the built-in one, and the USB-to-Ethernet adaptor) were missing updated drivers.


Resolution:  

  1. Download the correct drivers and save them to Sensee Folder

  2. Open Device Manager
