This knowledge article will walk you through how to configure your headset and notifications in MS Teams.
  1. Click on the profile image/Initials of the users' instance of Teams.
  2. Click on Manage account.
  3. From here you will be greeted with the settings and configuration options
  4. Under the General section on the Left; De-select the auto-start application.
  5. From the Notifications section; Be sure to select the 'As soon as possible' option from the drop down under Email> missed activity emails, and under the Teams and Channels label, Select 'All Activity'
  6. From the Devices section; Make sure that the Audio devices/Speaker/Microphone elements are all detecting the dedicated headset for Teams use and not any other devices such as webcam, PC/Laptop output speakers or external speakers/devices.
  7. From this same section, have the user put on their headset and then select the 'Make a test call' and as them to count to 5 whilst you observe the mic meter level.
  8. If this deployment is exclusive to sensee teams, give the user a call to confirm that the call transmission is successful both ways and to round of the appointment with the user and confirm that this session was successful.
